If one thing is going to motivate me during a workout, it’s music.
Without music, there’s no way you could get me to run endlessly on a treadmill, get through a tough spin class or drown out everyone at the gym. It just wouldn’t happen.
Over the years, I’ve honed in on exactly the type of music that works best for me & put together my tried and true workout playlist. You won’t find any of today’s top “hits” on my playlist, I can’t risk getting sick of hearing a song too much! If I’m hearing it all day on the radio, chances are I’ll want to skip it during my workout.
I’ve found that EDM music is truly the only thing I have blasting through my AirPods every day at the gym. Fast tempos & minimal lyrics are the perfect combination for a sprint on your favorite trail. Slow & smooth songs are great for cool downs and stretching.
